March to June is pleasant and green across the hill stations; December to February brings snow to Shimla, Manali, Solang and Dalhousie; and July to September is the monsoon (lush but with occasional landslides). High-altitude Spiti and most treks are best from June to October.

The nearest airports are Chandigarh, Kullu-Bhuntar (for Manali) and Gaggal-Kangra (for Dharamshala); the main railheads are Kalka, Chandigarh and Pathankot; and overnight Volvo coaches run from Delhi to Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala and Dalhousie. From there it is by road, which we arrange.

We run trips across Shimla, Manali and Solang, Spiti and Kinnaur, the Parvati valley (Kasol, Tosh, Kheerganga), Dharamshala and McLeodganj, Bir Billing, Dalhousie and Khajjiar, and offbeat valleys like Tirthan and Jibhi - plus a full range of Himalayan treks.

A weekend (2-3 nights) suits one hill station like Shimla or Manali; 5-7 days covers the classic Shimla-Manali circuit; and 8-12 days is ideal for grand multi-region tours or the high-altitude Spiti circuits. We tailor the length to your plan.

Most destinations need none - just a photo ID. Rohtang Pass requires a permit (which we arrange), while the Atal Tunnel to Sissu does not. Indian nationals do not need inner-line permits for the main Spiti and Kinnaur circuits.

Yes - December to February brings snow to Shimla, Kufri, Manali, Solang and Rohtang. When Rohtang is closed, the year-round Atal Tunnel gives access to snowy Sissu, and winter Spiti offers a full frozen-desert experience.
