Important Notes

Please read before booking

🌲

Best Time: March–June is pleasant and green; December–February brings snow to Shimla, Manali and Kufri; July–September sees monsoon showers and occasional landslides.

🚌

How to Reach: The trip is by road in a private vehicle. Most itineraries start from Chandigarh or Delhi; the nearest airports are Chandigarh, Kullu (Bhuntar) and Gaggal (Dharamshala).

⚠️

Hill Roads: Himachal''s mountain roads are winding and slower than plains. We plan realistic drive times and use experienced local drivers.

💰

Money & Network: Carry some cash for smaller towns; ATMs are in main towns. Mobile network is good in cities and patchy in remote valleys.

Yes - visitors are asked not to touch the villagers, their homes or sacred objects, as tradition considers outsiders ritually impure. Follow your guide's briefing, stay on marked paths and be respectful; it is a living traditional village.

It is a moderate uphill hike of roughly 1-2 hours from the trailhead, on a defined path. Basic fitness is enough; wear good shoes and carry water. We keep the pace comfortable.

Yes - unlike the Kheerganga trip, this itinerary only involves the shorter Malana walk and easy strolls, so it suits travellers who want the valley's vibe and culture without a big trek.

Manikaran has natural hot springs, a revered Sikh gurudwara and a Shiva temple. You can bathe in the hot-water baths, take the community langar meal, and feel the geothermal steam rising through the town.
