Important Notes

Please read before booking

🌲

Best Time: March–June is pleasant and green; December–February brings snow to Shimla, Manali and Kufri; July–September sees monsoon showers and occasional landslides.

🚌

How to Reach: The trip is by road in a private vehicle. Most itineraries start from Chandigarh or Delhi; the nearest airports are Chandigarh, Kullu (Bhuntar) and Gaggal (Dharamshala).

⚠️

Hill Roads: Himachal''s mountain roads are winding and slower than plains. We plan realistic drive times and use experienced local drivers.

💰

Money & Network: Carry some cash for smaller towns; ATMs are in main towns. Mobile network is good in cities and patchy in remote valleys.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you book

Yes - it comfortably covers Solang Valley, Hadimba temple and old Manali. It is designed as a quick refreshing break rather than a full circuit, so you see the essentials without rushing too much.

For a weekend, an overnight Volvo from Delhi (arriving Saturday morning) or a short flight to Kullu-Bhuntar (50 km away) works best. We can arrange either to maximise your time.

In winter (December to February) yes, at Solang and via the Atal Tunnel. In other seasons, snow may need a longer Rohtang/Atal Tunnel excursion, which is tight in a 3-day plan but possible.

It is possible but makes the schedule tight. If snow at Rohtang or Sissu is a priority, we suggest adding one night to do it comfortably.

Definitely - it is a popular quick escape for friends, with Solang adventure, cafes and nightlife in old Manali. We can arrange group stays and transport.

Old Manali, across the river, is famous for its laid-back cafes, live music, the Manu temple and riverside walks - a completely different vibe from the main Mall Road.

Yes - Beas river rafting near Manali is a quick 1-2 hour activity (seasonal) that fits easily into the Solang day. We can add it on request.

April to June for pleasant weather, December to February for snow. Weekends are busy year-round, so we book stays early for the best options.
