Please read before booking

🌲

Best Time: March–June is pleasant and green; December–February brings snow to Shimla, Manali and Kufri; July–September sees monsoon showers and occasional landslides.

🚌

How to Reach: The trip is by road in a private vehicle. Most itineraries start from Chandigarh or Delhi; the nearest airports are Chandigarh, Kullu (Bhuntar) and Gaggal (Dharamshala).

⚠️

Hill Roads: Himachal''s mountain roads are winding and slower than plains. We plan realistic drive times and use experienced local drivers.

💰

Money & Network: Carry some cash for smaller towns; ATMs are in main towns. Mobile network is good in cities and patchy in remote valleys.

Chamba is one of the oldest princely states in the region, dating back over a thousand years. It is renowned for its stone shikhara temples (notably the Lakshmi Narayan complex), the Rang Mahal palace, Chamba rumal embroidery, and the Minjar festival.

This shorter trip focuses on the Dalhousie-Khajjiar-Chamba triangle in northern Himachal, without going on to Dharamshala/McLeodganj. It is ideal if you want a quieter, heritage-and-nature circuit.

Generally yes - Dalhousie is a quieter, colonial-era hill station with a relaxed pace, pine forests and old churches, making it a peaceful alternative to the busier Shimla-Manali circuit.

Khajjiar's open meadow offers horse rides, zorbing and easy walks around the lake, plus the Khajji Nag temple - all great for families with children.

Via Pathankot railhead (about 2.5 hours) or Gaggal (Kangra) airport, with an overnight train/Volvo from Delhi to Pathankot being popular. We arrange the connection.

Yes - the pace is gentle with easy sightseeing and short walks. We can arrange comfortable stays and skip any strenuous stops on request.

March to June for pleasant weather and greenery, and September to November for clear skies. Monsoon can slow the hill roads with rain.
