About this Family Tour
Ladakh's magic, at a pace that works for kids and grandparents
Ladakh with the family is absolutely doable — the trick is pacing. This trip keeps things gentle: a full rest day in Leh, a relaxed low-altitude Sham Valley day the kids will love, and one big highlight — crossing Khardung La into Nubra Valley for a camel ride on the dunes.
We deliberately skip the long, high drives to Pangong so no one gets over-tired. Stays are comfortable hotels and a good Nubra guesthouse/camp, travel is by private vehicle you keep to yourselves, and we handle permits, transfers and carry oxygen.
Perfect for families with children or elderly parents who want the wonder of Ladakh without the exhausting bits. Want to add Pangong? We can, on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything a family needs to know before booking
Yes, with the right pace. This itinerary keeps altitude gentle — a rest day in Leh, a low Sham Valley day, and only Nubra as the higher leg. We carry oxygen and first-aid. Very young infants and anyone with heart or lung conditions should consult a doctor first.
Pangong involves long, high-altitude drives that can be tiring for kids and seniors. This trip focuses on gentler Sham Valley and Nubra instead. If your family is up for it, we can add Pangong on request.
