Important Notes

Please read before booking

📝

Yatra registration: Char Dham Yatra registration (the tourist card / biometric registration) is mandatory for all pilgrims. We help you complete it before your journey.

🥾

Kedarnath trek: Kedarnath involves a roughly 16–18 km uphill trek from Gaurikund. Ponies, palki (palanquin) and helicopter shuttles are available at your own cost. A basic fitness level is advised.

🌡️

Best time: The shrines open around late April and close near Diwali. April–June and September–October are ideal; the July–August monsoon can bring landslides and road delays.

⛰️

Altitude & weather: the higher shrines are at altitude with cold, fast-changing weather even in summer — carry warm layers year-round.

You fly from Dehradun to Kedarnath on one day and to Badrinath on the next (or as scheduled), with priority darshan at each shrine, then fly back — no 16 km trek and no long mountain drives.

No — the helicopter lands close to Kedarnath and you walk only a short distance to the temple, so the 16 km Gaurikund trek is completely avoided.

It is assisted, faster darshan at the shrines arranged for helicopter pilgrims, so you spend less time queuing. Availability follows the rules and any fees set by the temple committees.

Mountain flying needs clear visibility. If the weather closes in, flights are delayed or rescheduled for safety — so we advise keeping a buffer day and treating timings as flexible.

Yes — it is the most comfortable option, with no trek and no long drives, which is exactly why senior pilgrims and those with limited time choose it.

We help rebook the next available slot where possible. Any additional cost from weather delays is not included, and we always recommend travel flexibility for helicopter yatras.
