Important Notes
Please read before booking
Best time: Haridwar and Rishikesh are year-round destinations. October to March is the most pleasant; summers are warm, and the July–August monsoon brings a fuller Ganga (with a pause in rafting).
Ganga aarti: The evening Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri (Haridwar) and Triveni Ghat / Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) is the highlight — timings shift with sunset and season, and we plan the day around them.
Temple etiquette: Dress modestly for temples and ashrams. Some shrines such as Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi are reached by a ropeway or a short uphill walk.
Around the ghats: The ghats and ashrams are compact and walkable. Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are restricted in much of Haridwar and Rishikesh, which are pilgrim towns.

Everything you need to know before you book
It is enough for the highlights — the Ganga aarti and the main ghats and bridges. For temples, rafting or a relaxed pace, choose the 3-day spiritual tour.
Usually one night in Rishikesh (or Haridwar), in a comfortable hotel near the river. We can adjust the base to your arrival and departure points.
Yes — Haridwar/Rishikesh are a popular weekend escape from Delhi, roughly 5–6 hours by road or a short train ride, and we can start from either town.
We aim for at least one full aarti (Haridwar's Har Ki Pauri or Rishikesh's Triveni Ghat / Parmarth Niketan). With good timing you can catch both.
In the rafting season we can slot a short Ganga rafting run into the second morning. Tell us in advance so we can arrange it.
Very — it is short, gentle and safe, with the aarti, bridges and ghats being a hit with all ages.
October to March is most comfortable. It runs year-round, though summers are warm and monsoon weekends can be crowded around festivals.
Breakfast is included; being pilgrim towns, plenty of good pure-vegetarian dining is available for other meals, which we can recommend.
