Important Notes

Please read before booking

📝

Yatra registration: Char Dham Yatra registration (the tourist card / biometric registration) is mandatory for all pilgrims. We help you complete it before your journey.

🥾

Kedarnath trek: Kedarnath involves a roughly 16–18 km uphill trek from Gaurikund. Ponies, palki (palanquin) and helicopter shuttles are available at your own cost. A basic fitness level is advised.

🌡️

Best time: The shrines open around late April and close near Diwali. April–June and September–October are ideal; the July–August monsoon can bring landslides and road delays.

⛰️

Altitude & weather: the higher shrines are at altitude with cold, fast-changing weather even in summer — carry warm layers year-round.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you book

It runs over 11 days instead of 10, adds a scenic night at Chopta, and uses the best available premium hotels on the circuit — so the sacred journey is far more comfortable and unhurried.

Yes — we can pre-book a Kedarnath helicopter shuttle from Phata or Guptkashi for you (at additional cost), which is popular with families and senior pilgrims on the deluxe package.

Chopta is a beautiful alpine meadow region known as the "mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand". The overnight there is a restful, scenic break in the middle of the yatra and the base for the optional Tungnath trek.

The optional early trek to Tungnath (the world's highest Shiva temple, ~3.5 km each way) is offered from Chopta, weather permitting. It is not mandatory, so you can rest instead if you prefer.

Very much so — the extra day, the relaxed pace, the premium stays and the Kedarnath helicopter option make it the most family- and senior-friendly way to complete the Char Dham.

Yes — daily breakfast and dinner are included and, being a pilgrimage, all meals are pure vegetarian. On the deluxe package these are served at premium hotels, and we can note any dietary preferences in advance.

We recommend 1–3 months ahead, especially for May–June departures. Premium hotels on the circuit are limited and Kedarnath helicopter slots sell out early, so booking sooner secures the best stays.

We assist with the darshan queues and, where an official VIP / special-entry darshan facility is offered at a shrine, we help you arrange it. Availability and any temple fees are as set by the shrine committees.
