About this Spring Tour

Timed for Asia's largest tulip garden in full bloom

For a few glorious weeks each spring, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar erupts with over a million blooms against the Zabarwan hills — and this trip is timed for exactly that. Add almond blossom, the Gulmarg gondola and green Pahalgam, and it's Kashmir at its most colourful.

The tulip window is short and popular, so we recommend booking early. Private transfers, verified stays and planning are all handled.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Five spring days built around the tulips

  • Arrive at Srinagar airport and transfer to your hotel.
  • Head to the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden while the light is soft.
  • Nearby Mughal gardens and an evening shikara ride; overnight in Srinagar.
💡 Pro Tip: Go early or late in the day — softer light and thinner crowds for tulip photos.
  • Drive to Gulmarg and ride the gondola.
  • Spring meadows starting to green up, with snow still on the peaks.
  • Return to Srinagar; overnight at your hotel.
🌟 Note: Early spring still means snow up top — carry a warm layer for the gondola.
  • Drive to Pahalgam through orchards in blossom.
  • Betaab and Aru valleys, fresh and green in spring.
  • Overnight in Pahalgam.
💡 Pro Tip: Spring orchards make for lovely roadside photo stops — ask your driver.
  • Drive back to Srinagar.
  • Explore the old city, Jamia Masjid and the craft emporiums.
  • Free time to shop at Lal Chowk; overnight in Srinagar.
🌟 Note: Tulip dates shift a little each year with the bloom — we track them for you.
  • After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for your flight home.
  • Kashmir in full spring colour — a rare treat.
💡 Pro Tip: Book this one early — the tulip window is only a few weeks long.

Everything you need to know before you book

Usually from late March into April for just a few weeks. The exact dates shift each year with the bloom, and we track the announcement so departures line up with peak colour.

The bloom window is short. We time departures to the official dates, but if the tulips fade we substitute the almond blossom gardens and complete the full Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam sightseeing.

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is Asia's largest — over a million tulips in dozens of varieties, spread across terraced slopes below the Zabarwan hills by Dal Lake.

Spring days are pleasant, but mornings and evenings are cool and there's still snow on the peaks. Carry light woollens and a jacket.

Yes — it's a short, very popular window, so hotels and flights into Srinagar fill up quickly. Early booking is strongly recommended.
